- Stuart’s Cor Unum Center
Stuart Country Day School makes its facilities available to private and public community groups for gatherings of all sizes. Event planners may choose from a number of spaces to host meetings, conferences, camps or sporting events. For information on spaces not listed below, we invite you to contact Stuart to discuss your event with our Operations team.
Cor Unum
Completed in 2005, Stuart’s Cor Unum Center is the “heart” of the school. This 525-seat gathering space is home to a state-of-the-art stage complex, including a fully-automated lighting system, a high-tech sound system and a 32 x 20-ft. stage. The facility also features a 27 x 8-ft. lift that can be incrementally set from audience level all the way to stage level.
Stuart Little Theater
Stuart’s “Little Theater” is a 150-seat theater space. Featuring a computerized lighting system and a sound system, the stage area is 32 x 20 ft. This space is often used for conferences and events where more interaction among participants is desired.
Dining Facilities
Featuring an expansive bank of windows overlooking the Stuart campus, the dining area provides a picturesque venue for your upcoming event. Event planners may opt for catering provided by Stuart’s outstanding Dining Services team or an outside firm. The room seats 275 people comfortably.
Community Room
Featuring a kitchenette and audio-visual capability, Stuart’s Community Room provides seating for up to 25 people.
Gymnasium
Stuart features two gymnasiums, each sized for full-court regulation basketball. The first, featuring a synthetic floor, accommodates bleacher seating for 325. A scoreboard is available. The second gym features a wood floor.
Turf Field
Stuart’s synthetic-grass turf field was completed in 2007. This 113 x 62-yd. field is permanently marked for soccer, lacrosse and field hockey. Bleacher seating can accommodate 300, and parking is available nearby.
Pitonyak Sports Complex
If natural grass is your preferred venue, Stuart has two fields that can accommodate your favorite field games. One is full-sized, at 122 x 60 yards. The smaller, 95 x 51-yd. field is suitable for practices. Goals are available for field hockey and lacrosse, and arrangements can be made to have the field marked for your event. Stuart also has five tennis courts (synthetic surface). Parking is limited to 45 stalls, but other lots are available a short walk away. The entrance to the Pitonyak Sports Complex is located off The Great Road in Princeton.
