Dr. Patty Fagin speaks with artist Allison Gratton ’00 at the opening of 'Dialectics' in the Considine Gallery.
The Considine Gallery is located in the lobby at the main entrance and along the adjacent corridors. If offers two exhibits of professional artists in the autumn and winter and an all-school student exhibit in the spring. The objectives of the gallery are to make art a part of everyday life and stimulate aesthetic appreciation. In addition, it is the intention of the gallery director to offer exhibits that reflect the Goals and Criteria of Stuart, while encouraging reflection, contemplation and dialogue.
The Hamill Gallery is located near the art wing and features works by students in the Lower, Middle and Upper School on a revolving basis. It may be used for collaborative projects as well when needed.
