  • Christina Chun ’12 to receive Princeton’s Hubert Alyea Award

    We are proud to announce that senior Christina Chun has been awarded the 2012 Hubert Alyea Award, sponsored by Princeton University and the Princeton Section of the American Chemical Society. Christina was nominated for this award by Stuart's science faculty because of her enthusiasm for the study of sciences and her excellence in all scientific disciplines. Christina also received prestigious recognition as a John Jay Scholar at Columbia University. In the fall Christina will be attending Princeton University.

  • Author Gwen Southgate Visits History Classes

    On May 2, Upper School students in Meg Caddeau’s Modern European History classes were treated to a visit from author Gwen Southgate. She shared her childhood experiences before, during, and after World War II in England. Before her visit, the girls read exerpts from Ms. Southgate’s memoir, Coin Street Chronicles.

  • Robotics team visits Princeton engineering department

    On Tuesday, members of the SPARKS robotics team visited Princeton University for an fun-filled engineering field trip. The trip culminated with some great liquid nitrogen demos from Professor Houck, including penny smashing and ice cream making—delicious and educational!

  • Upper School Spanish Celebrates Culture in a New Way

    Students in Sra. Solomon's Spanish three classes are looking at food, and the Hispanic cultures around the world, from a different perspective. After completing their project "Getting to Know Culture Through Food", they learned that food represents many things.
